Born in 1951 in Wednesbury where I lived until 1976 when I married Penny we have since lived in Sutton Coldfield, our twin daughters are Emma and Kate and we have two sons Ryan and Mark.
Essentially a family man, my other interests daily swimming, travel at home and abroad, folk music and frequenting restraunts with good friends. I am a former Boys Brigade captain and a founder of a Birmingham youth club. For twelve years I was a governor of two of our local schools, including four years as chairman. Since 1961 I have been an active supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers (sorry you Blues and Villa fans.)
My wife Penny is now a partner in the business and she has supported me and been responsible for much of its administration and secretarial work since its inception – Penny is a former child care specialist and qualified Nursery Nurse. Penny and I have always worked successfully together, she shares many of my above interests, except football. In common with our daughter Emma, Penny has a particular interest in local theatre as well as being a keen gardener and also a daily swimmer. Another of her special achievements was saving our library closure over a ten year voluntary project.
